Our Story

Lino's Coffee began in 1990 as a small roasting plant in Parma, Italy. The company quickly made a name for itself, as it imported only the best beans from places such as Brazil, Kenya, Guatemala, and Mexico. This humble workshop gained rapid success and was invited to join the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe in 1995. In 2001, the first Lino's Coffee Shop opened just outside of Parma. This coffee shop was the first of its kind in the area; it served high-quality, Italian-style coffee in an atmosphere similar to an American-style "coffeehouse". Lino's quickly expanded, opening shops across Italy and, eventually, around the world. Lino's has locations in Egypt, United Arab Emirates, France, Kuwait, South Africa, Morocco, Slovakia, Switzerland, and one in the United States.

Lino's Coffee in Speedway, Indiana offers Hoosiers a true Italian experience without leaving the Midwest.  Coffee beans are still collected world-wide and shipped to Italy, where flavors and aromas are tested to create the best blends. Lino's not only receives its beans from Italy, but we also receive fresh shipments of Italian meats, cheeses, and other ingredients.

Although the ingredients, recipes, and the quality remain unchanged, we offer a unique twist on the traditional Lino's Coffee Shop. Located in the Dallara IndyCar Factory, Lino's Speedway sits right in the heart of racing and is frequented by Italian drivers and engineers. We boast an authentic Italian menu including pizza, panini, pasta, salads, and gelato, as well as a full bar specializing in Indiana craft beer. Despite our growing presence in the bar scene by night, by day, we remain a traditional, European-style bistro where locals can enjoy their hand-crafted beverages and Italian cuisine in a quiet, spacious, and sleek cafe.

“The sight of Lino's almost brought me to tears. It started with a desperate hunt for a fix bright and early on race day. I resigned myself to lukewarm track coffee, then Lino's appeared like a North Star. . . Even if you're a Zionsville local it's worth the trip to Speedway for an authentic taste of the old world."   - Kim D. (Yelp)

“Easily my favorite place in Indy. Amazing coffee drinks. Great espresso. Really good veggie sandwich and epic meat ones too."  - Peter K. (Yelp)
